Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, October 06, 2011

What’s up folks?  Lucha is here with a quick update from the pacific coast in Nicaragua.  We want to show you all of you guys out there what you miss in October, when you do not want to come down during this month.  The waves were super fun, running about chest to head on sets with some occasional over head waves here and there.  Check it out!!!

We went to Playa Maderas to check out the waves and we were pleasantly surprised.  We found some sick waves rolling in and we are glad to show you how it was.

There were some sick rights coming in and La Bestia Calderon was out there, killing it as always.  Here he is getting into a nice barrel section.

La Bestia was also doing some sick turns.  Check him out smacking the lip of this right hander.

The waves were super fun at this spot and there were waves even for the spongers.  This is Kike going big with a cool 360’s move right in front of the rocks at Machete Pt.

The last shot from this spot goes to Nicolas.  Hey Buddy, watch out for those rocks!

We changed locations in the afternoon and drove up north to score some sweet ones.  This is the first thing we saw when we got to the beach.  Chanon getting way shacked on this one!

Our very own Borrador took a ride with me and was able to pull into a few nice ones as well.  Here he is caught holding his rail and looking for the door.

The lineup was not busy at all, there were only about 7 or 8 guys in the water the whole time we were there.  This is Matt from Cal charging the inside section!

Mateo Generoso was sitting right next to me taking photos, but when he saw those sick ones coming through, he paddled out right away and scored.  Check him out enjoying the view!

Chanon was all over the place this evening.  Here he is about to pull in to yet another sick barrel.  This one ran all the way down the beach.

A crew from Israel showed up to score and they did.  This is Sach bottom turning on a nice looking right.

There were still some sweet ones rolling in right at sunset and we are running out of light.  So this is going to be the last one.  Hope you enjoyed the show, please check back tomorrow.
