Hello everyone, we are the NSR family bringing you the action from Playa Maderas.  Today we woke up early and drove up to the beach to catch some fun and uncrowded waves.  It was running about chest to head high on sets with offshore winds and the water was chilly.  Check out what we got!!!

Machete pt was doing its thing today, it was not big but there were definitely many fun and clean waves coming through.  Here we have a shot of Allan “La Prenda” Carcamo taking off on a nice sizeable right.  He was the only local surfer out so he was taking advantage and catching a few good ones.

The left was working pretty well too and some international surfers were out killing it.  This guy had a couple of good pictures today that he can get on NSR Surf Shots.  Here he is setting up to get barreled in front of the rocks.

We want to give a special shout out to our good friend from the Happy House Ben “Nacho Mamas” Hubeck.  He just got back from Canada a few days ago and today he paddled out to ride some waves.  Here he is styling and trying to get a backside barrel.  It looks like he has been watching a lot of videos in Canada and now he wants to practice all he has learned.

Here we have an unknown rider with a sweet shot at Machete pt.  It seems that everybody was willing to risk body and board to get a couple of good shots.  Everyone should go to NSR Surf Shots or click on one of the photos we have on today’s surf report to check out all of the other shots we took today.

Jessica “La Capitana” from Texas took the longboard out and was doing some interesting stuff on it.  Here she is looking down the line on one of the best set waves of the day.

On the last shot of the day we have Trevor “La Meduza” riding a nice looking left.  Alright folks, the waves should be fun tomorrow as well so check back with us and see what we got for you.

This is just in, today when we got back to town we took a couple of photos of Codo getting his haircut.  He has been growing his hair out for almost 2 years and now he decided to cut it because he found some bugs living in there. It took over an hour to cut it all off.
