Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, April 16, 2024

Tony Zacharek

Happy Tuesday everybody, The new swell has finally started to show itself this morning. The 17-18 second interval making it pretty long and stretched out. but there were a few guys who gave it a go. @tonyzphotos reporting today.

Tony Zacharek

It was pretty much all rights today with the westerly swell direction and pretty fast. You can see this guy hear looking to taking a few big pumps to race this wall.

Tony Zacharek

This was one of the first waves I saw this morning. IT was an in between wave and did offer an exit for this guy.

Tony Zacharek

Shortly after we had a real set come through. we have the guy in the tube in good position, but unfortunately someone on the shoulder looking right at him and crushed the section early. Closing the exit opportunity.

Tony Zacharek

And....again. Another surfer in a good spot, unfortunately again being snowballed by the same guy on the shoulder.

Tony Zacharek

He's not done yet folks!!! The mystery snow baller clamps one more shut for another person. Give courtesy to surf surfer deeper and up and riding. The guy not only didn't catch any of the waves, but also ruined opportunity for the others. Don't be that guy.

Tony Zacharek

This was the lone left that happened while I was shooting. The guy covered some nice ground on this wave.

Tony Zacharek

It's 98% rights today, the crew that was out clocked in some nice travel time. Not many exits were found.

Tony Zacharek

Go buddy go.

This is what Panga Drops looked like from Colorado, The reef handles the longer interval better. Bring a little bit more foam and have some fun. See you back again tomorrow.
