Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, March 20, 2010

What’s up fellas? This is your favorite reporter bringing you all the action we had on the beach today.  The waves got smaller but there were still a few nice ones coming in.  It was running about waist to chest high on sets with strong offshore winds and the water was a little chilly.  Check it out!

The beach was not busy at all this morning, we only had about 7 or 8 guys taking advantage in the lineup and they were mostly locals.  This is “El Tuzo” Morales with a cool snap on this right.

There were only 2 or 3 international surfers out there this morning and they were doing the best to have fun.  Here is caught one of them drifting this little nugget all the way in to the beach.

As we said before we mostly had only locals in the lineup and they were ripping it up, as always.  This is “La Bestia” Calderon showing us his powerful backside technique on this left.

The waves were pretty small but there were still a few empty and clean ones rolling in.  Here we have this shot to prove it!

On the last shot of the day we have “El Monito” Solis going of the top of this nice and clean wave.  The waves are supposed to be about the same size tomorrow but we are expecting to have a new swell the next week, so stay tuned with us.

And a couple more shots from our friend Mike D. at Nicawaves.  He's got a good crew of rippers with him this week and they've been Scoring!  First up, we have Chris, deep inside a first-peak barrel.  Now that's how you get on NSR!

Next up, we have Al, lining it up and laying it down.  That's a sick one Al!  We are stoked you guys are scoring and even more stoked for the killer shots.  Thanks Mike!  Big swell coming next week so check back!
